What It Is
Tamworth Tuning is a dealer in both the Insoric Hub Dyno and the Magic Motorsport Road Dyno. We are able to dyno test all of our bookings, providing you, the customer, with a real-time BHP, WHP and PS reading both before and after your tuning session.
This allows us to step aside from all mobile companies who offer a software-only service. Having the ability to test a vehicle before and after tuning allows you, as the owner, the ability to know exactly what you have purchased.
Tamworth Tuning can cater for all types of cars — both 2WD and 4WD (without removing shafts, fuses, etc.).

Required documentation: all customers must read, sign and send our consent form back to us prior to your booking. Testing is subject to weather conditions, vehicle quality and the vehicle’s stock power. Tamworth Tuning has the right to cancel and refund a session without notice at any time.

Power testing a vehicle places it in a condition it normally will not be driven in. The test includes 3rd and 4th gear power pulls to the end of the RPM limiter. Turbo, clutch, fuel injectors and many other components are likely to fail if there is an underlying issue or the vehicle is not fit for purpose. Tamworth Tuning performs diagnostics like all companies, but it is not our responsibility to ensure components are of good quality. Many factors can change the quality of a component at any time before or during a test.
Testing a vehicle’s power is not subject to a guarantee of power. Although Tamworth Tuning can install a setup to achieve power, underlying issues may prevent a vehicle from achieving the goal figure. It is understood that Tamworth Tuning is to install software, provide diagnostics and test the vehicle for power achieved in a single booking. Further charges of £60 per hour apply for any client wishing for Tamworth Tuning to further diagnose a vehicle. This separate service may require a separate booking and can be rejected at the time of vehicle testing, preventing vehicle owners from gaining work at no charge where a vehicle is not performing to its best ability. Tamworth Tuning performs the same diagnostics in all bookings prior to software installation and accepts no responsibility for issues to vehicle components.
